Having served as a Healthcare Executive for 14 years, to include roles as a Chief Nursing Officer, CEO, and President, Teresa has a strong grasp on hospital operations and a proven record for not only creating a vision but also true execution of strategy.
Teresa is a heart-forward leader who is Board Certified in Patient Safety (CPPS), Patient Experience (CPXP), Advanced Nurse Executive (NEA-BC), and Executive Nursing Practice (CENP).
She has shown success in eliminating contract labor, reducing turnover to single digits, moving patient experience from the 15th percentile to the 75th percentile, and improving employee engagement and physician satisfaction.
Teresa opened and established seven micro-hospitals in the Kansas City market resulting in 30% new market share and > 3500 ED visits monthly. ED Patient Experience results were consistently in the 97th percentile in Press Ganey database. These micro-hospitals were the lowest cost care delivery model with the highest quality outcomes in the Kansas City area.
