Leadership

Lori Tackett is the Chief Nursing Officer of Rock Regional Hospital where she is the leader of nursing and clinical support staff. She joins Rock Regional with extensive leadership experience over the past 13 years. Her roles as RN, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, and then Executive Facility Director developing clinical processes and leading quality assurance have developed and shaped her leadership style with a hands-on approach.

Patient focus, staff retention, and the reduction and elimination of contract labor are the focus that have been her path to success in positive patient outcomes.

Lori and her husband live in the Wichita, Derby area and have two sons, Aiden and Andrew. Outside of work, Lori enjoys time supporting her son’s sports and family vacations.

Shawndra Burgardt is the Controller of Rock Regional Hospital, where she leads the finance staff. She joined Rock Regional with over 30 years of experience in accounting and payroll. Most recently she was the Director of Accounting for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Shawndra has led and been involved in several software conversions and system integrations for both accounting and payroll systems. Her leadership ability and attention to detail allow her to educate the finance team on the use of the upgraded systems.

Outside of work, Shawndra is an ultra-marathon runner and loves spending time with her husband and 3 sons.
